Alfresco Spaces

We love using mirrors in alfresco spaces and recently had the opportunity to create some amazing outdoor mirrors for a client’s garden in Darling Point, Sydney.

The inspiration for the mirror design came from modern architectural windows we had seen – they created an incredible sense of depth and mysticism. A grey-tinted glass was selected for its moody feels and the colour nestles and blends the mirrored glass into the garden seamlessly.  The frames are powder-coated metal in a soft green colour – Dulux Pale Eucalyptus.  The mirrors are asymmetric, and while not identical, make for a perfect pairing.

The placement of the duo hang directly opposite the oversized front door, so the scale of the mirrors took on larger proportions to suit.  Contemporary art throughout the home’s interior prompted the modern mirror design outdoors to be in context and harmony.

They are the perfect finishing touch to the side entrance of the home, adding some edgy glamour to elevate the whole space.
