Paddington Garden

We are thrilled to see one of our favourite projects featured in this month’s Inside Out Magazine. This is resort-style living at its experiential best! Definitely a very satisfying project to bring to fruition, it has the magical Morocco mood – a modern day Riad – a space that feels exotic and romantic.

The word Riad means ‘enclosed garden’ in Arabic, and has over time come to represent traditional Moroccan homes and chic boutique hotels that are built around roofless courtyards that are filled with lush plantings and cooling water features. Riad’s are not viewed from the outside at all and are hidden gems that only emerge once you’ve walked through the house. We loved reimagining the traditional Riad to create this serene hideaway in Paddington, a perfect oasis for our clients to return to after a hectic day.
