Crassula ‘Baby’s Necklace’

Casuarina Glauca

Crassula ‘Baby’s Necklace’ is an interesting hybrid developed as a cross of two South African succulents, Crassula perforate with Crassula rupestris subsp. Marnieriana.  It has puffy individual foliage that grow in neat stacks on upright stems.  The colour of the leaves is a sage green with rosy-red edges. They are quite a striking, sculptural succulent and are drought tolerant.

This is a low-maintenance plant that also grows well indoors. It is a compact grower and is well suited to container growing.  You need to use a cactus or succulent potting mix and only needs to be watered when the soil is dry.  In winter you should cut right back on watering too frequently and it loves to be in full sun.
