We’ve had a couple of great articles featuring projects designed by Adam Robinson Design.

The first one in the recent House & Garden magazine, a project we collaborated on with Brooke Aitken Design who set about updating the interior of this charming Sydney home.  The rear courtyard of the home was planned and planted out by us! The courtyard space was a bit tricky in that it is a narrow space surrounded by large houses, it gets a lot of shade in cooler months and plenty of sun in the warmer months.  The selected plant species were planted to follow the sun and allow for this.  The owner of this home loves orchids, ceramics and art so there are plenty of orchids dotted around and the spectacular carved-timber artwork purchased overseas is a visual focal point of the courtyard.  We took inspiration from this artwork and others and replicated colours Brooke used in the interior, outside by using woodfired, terracotta pots in the mix.

Our design work was also featured in the Summer edition of ‘Local Paddo’ magazine. This stunning Victorian terrace with a typical long, narrow backyard was transformed into a modern day Riad. This project has been very popular and has received a lot of media interest – no wonder though as it is one of our favourites too!  A luxurious, glamorous oasis completely hidden away, no one would ever guess this exotic secret garden exists behind a traditional Victorian façade.
