Adam Robinson Design are proud members/sponsors of CULTIVATE NSW, which is the Horticultural Therapy Society of NSW Incorporated.

Since ancient times gardens have always been considered to be healing places.  Social and Therapeutic Horticulture puts a name to the process in which plants and gardening activities are used almost as a form of therapy to improve mind, body and spirit – and this is valid for people of all ages and walks of life.

At present, there are no Accredited training courses for Social and Therapeutic Horticulture in Australia.  A new body has been formed called Therapeutic Horticulture Australia (THA).

That intends to work towards this.  In the meantime, Cultivate NSW one day workshops with an educational focus on the topic.
