We love the gorgeous Wave Chair inspired by the French modernist designs of Jean Royere and available through Rachel Donath.
The sophisticated Wave Chair is a sculpture in and of itself, it’s refined ribbon-like form is fabricated with a lightweight metal frame and upholstered in Clay coloured canvas. The chair is handmade in small numbers by a team of artisan welders and is designed to be styled as a wow-factor accent piece or in multiples as a dining chair or in whatever configuration suits.
While suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the upholstery would require updating to withstand all weather elements and noting that some rust may occur to the metal frame if left outside in all weather conditions without cover.
The Wave chair is available in limited numbers and comes in a black finish – we love the white! There are other pieces in the Wave family, Wave Bar Stool, Wave Fire Screen and Wave Side Table.
