Sydney-based studio, DesignByThem, has released a range of charming 100 percent recycled plastic furniture pieces. The Confetti Collection, designed by GibsonKarlo (Nicholas Karlovasitis & Sarah Gibson) is a colourful treat made up of planters, tables, stools and benches.
Every piece in CONFETTI are made from recycled plastic, comes with a story and products include pots, stools, benches, side table, bar table, coffee table, dining table, and ottoman. Bold, colourful and textural, all items are highly durable, UV stable and the smooth plastic surface mean they are all easy to clean. Every product is unique – no two products are completely alike.
“We have always been fascinated by the application of reused or recycled materials. These materials are often hidden but we feel that they should be celebrated not only because they are sustainable but because they can be beautiful and create conversation.”
