Light & Grow
Lately we’ve been doing a lot of styling projects using amazing products from our friends at Luumo Design in Paddington. Two of our favourite products are the Carrie Lamp and Wire Planters by Menu.
In Denmark, where winters are cold and long, creating a warm, cosy atmosphere is a way of life. There is even a special Danish word for it – hygge – and it is directly tied to our national obsession with candles. The idea behind the Carrie LED Lamp is to honour hygge in the context of modern living and to create a lamp that is lightweight and portable – so easily carried around and re-positioned as needed.
You could use it anywhere and everywhere, and we love it outdoors, especially in these cooler months because it gives a warm glow and is perfect for outdoor entertaining. RRP on the lamps – small $203, medium $228, large $268.
The wire planter is a Norm Architect’s design with modern city living in mind. The Wire Series consists of bases that hold either lamps or plants. They are available in three sizes – small, medium and large. RRP $349 for black, burgundy, and olive. The brass lamp is $449.
