Agonis Flexuosa

Agonis flexuosa is a beautiful species of tree that grows in the southwest region of Western Australia and is also known as Peppermint Willow.  It is easily the most recognisable tree growing in the State, being commonly planted as a street tree, and grown in parks, and reserves.

This is a small size tree that is ideal for commercial projects and grows well in coastal gardens.  It makes a great specimen tree because of its contrasting weeping habit and relatively small size.

It usually grows to approx. 5m high and 4 m wide and produces lovely trailing clusters of smally white flowers during Spring and Summer, making it a gorgeous feature in any garden.

This is a tree that requires little maintenance and is quite drought tolerant once it’s established.  It can be pruned to a pleasing shape of your choice and will benefit from fertilising once per year in spring.
