Great Australian Gardens Volume 2 is a celebration of the creative and passionate pursuit of gardening. Drawn from the pages of Australian House & Garden magazine, it is a collection of more than 25 case studies, profiling both the gardens and the inspirational people behind them. From historic properties to bold, contemporary and urban sanctuaries created by city-bound green thumbs, this book showcases a variety of green oases across Australia, with breathtaking photography by the some of the country’s best garden photographers.

Regardless of size or postcode, a garden will always help to anchor a home and enhance the lives of everyone within.
— Elizabeth Wilson, Gardens Editor, Australian House & Garden magazine

The book is beautifully written by Elizabeth Wilson, Gardens Editor of Australian House & Garden magazine. She is responsible for sourcing, writing and commissioning the garden content in the magazine. Great Australian Gardens Volume 2 is the second garden book she has produced (she was responsible for Volume 1 as well). While she is not a horticulturist herself, she’s a self-confessed plant tragic and keen weekend gardener with a particular love for Australian natives.

Available where all good books are sold and Bauer Books.
